How Our Part Exchange Scheme Works

Our Part Exchange scheme is designed to make moving into your new Oakmere home quicker, simpler, and stress-free - no chain, no hassle. Here’s how it works:

Step 1 – Check Availability

Speak to one of our friendlyNew Homes Advisors to find out which Oakmere homes are available with Part Exchange.

Step 2 – Get Your Home Valued

We’ll arrange for independent valuations and surveys of your property, then make you a fair offer. If you’re happy, you can reserve your brand-new Oakmere home.

Step 3 – We Handle the Sale

Our New Homes Advisors will manage the sale of your existing home from start to finish - all we ask is that you provide reasonable access for viewings.

How Does Move Assist Work?

Our Move Assist scheme is here to help you sell your current property quickly and smoothly, soyou can move into your brand-new Oakmere home without the stress.

Step 1 – Check Available Homes

Speak to one of our New Homes Advisors to see which Oakmere homes are available with MoveAssist. Selected plots can be held for up to six weeks while we help you find a buyer.

Step 2 – We Arrange Valuations

Once you’ve chosen your Move Assist plot, simply complete an application form with one of ourNew Homes Advisors. We’ll work with up to three trusted local estate agents to agree a fair and realistic value for your current property.

Step 3 – We Market Your Home

With the price agreed, we’ll begin marketing your property and aim to secure a suitable buyer asquickly as possible.

Step 4 – Secure Your New Oakmere Home

Once a buyer is found and the chain is complete, you can secure your new Oakmere home,confident that your move will be smooth and hassle-free.

What is the Consumer Code?

At Oakmere Homes, we follow the Consumer Code for Home Builders, a set of industry standards designed to protect you at every stage of your new home journey – from your very first enquiry to long after you've moved in.

The Code was created by the home-building industry to ensure that buying a new build is always fair, transparent, and stress-free.

The Consumer Code ensures:

  • Before You Buy - You'll receive clear, accurate, and detailed information about your home so you can make a fully informed decision.

  • When You Exchange Contracts - Your purchase agreement will be fair, easy to understand, and free from hidden surprises.

  • After You Move In - You'll still have access to a responsive after-sales service, with clear guidance on how to resolve any issues that may arise.

  • If Problems Occur - You'll benefit from an independent, speedy, and low-cost dispute resolution service should any concerns need formal action.

Taking Care of You

At Oakmere, our commitment to you doesn't end when you pick up your kets – it's just the beginning. From the moment you reserve your new home, we're here to guide you, support you, and make sure you get the very best from your Oakmere property.

Upon reservation, your New Homes Advisor will provide you with a comprehensive Home User Guide, detailing everything you need to know – including what's covered by your new home warranty. Before you move in, your Site Project Manager will also carry out a personal home demonstration, walking you through your new home and answering any questions.

We take pride in our build quality, but as with all new construction, some minor snagging may be required after you've moved in. Our dedicated Aftercare Team is committed to resolving any valid defects to your complete satisfaction.

All homeowners have access to our Defect Reporting Form and our Clixifix online system. Once a claim is validated, we'll log it on Clixifix for you. This system allows us to efficiently manage and track the resolution of any valid defects – and with your own Clixifix login, you can monitor progress and track appointments in real time.

To report an issue, please complete our Defect Reporting Form. If you'd prefer not to use the form, you can contact our Customer Service Team directly at customerservices@oakmerehomes.com – please note that aftercare issues should be reported here rather than to Site Managers or New Homes Advisors.
